A small file can still exceed the text limit. Prepare a smaller PDF with the relevant pages and note their original page numbers.

Check dates, local times and exceptions. In the museum example, closing time and last entry are different.
Check the details that change the meaning
AI translation can misread an ambiguous word or miss an exception. Review the parts that affect what you will do next.
- Times, dates and amounts
- Compare the value, currency and unit, even when the notation changes. In the example above, 17 h 30 means 5:30 pm; it is the last entry time, not the closing time.
- Names and specialist terms
- Check names, product codes and abbreviations. If a term has a specific meaning in your field, use that meaning consistently when editing your working copy.
- Conditions and exceptions
- Look for words such as “not”, “unless” and “only”. Check who must act, what they must do and when the instruction applies.
If a passage still seems unclear, read the surrounding paragraph in the source and ask someone who knows the language to check the meaning.

How large can my PDF be?
Choose a PDF up to 100 MB with up to 150,000 characters of extracted text. These are separate limits. For a longer document, prepare a smaller PDF containing the pages you need.
Why is some text missing or in the wrong order?
Missing text may come from image-only content, while columns can appear in the wrong order during extraction. Try copying text from the affected area into a text editor. If nothing pastes, that area may need OCR. If the order is wrong, compare the translation with the source page.
